DESCRIPTION:The Society would like to invite its members and others to the following talks: \nDr Vanessa Greatorex \n‘Assault\, Debt and Defamation: Chester’s Medieval Court Records’ \n& \nDr   Simon Harris (Hon. Senior Research Fellow in History\, Keele University) \n‘Reading Military Records: The War of Saint Sardos\, 1324-5’ \nIf you wish to attend please contact the secretary on ranulfhigdensoc@gmail.com for the Zoom link details. It is free to members. \nIf you have problems connecting to the meeting please text or ring the following number: 07985 872 602. Try to connect as early as possible since the meeting will start at 11.00am. \nThere will be a break for lunch at around 12.15 after the morning talk\, and the meeting will resume again at 1.30pm. The AGM for the Society will be held during the lunch break. \nIf you do decide to attend the meeting\, please keep your video switched off at all times\, and activate the audio only if you have an issue with your Zoom connection. This will help with the smooth running of the Zoom meeting. If you wish to ask one of the speakers a question please use the chat facility which will be made available to you in Zoom\, and it will be answered after the end of the talk. \n
